Canadian Boccia Championships coming to Richmond October 24-29!
Richmond Sport Hosting is excited to welcome the top Boccia athletes from across the country to participate in the 2023 Canadian Boccia Championships. The event will take place at the Richmond Olympic Oval October 24-27.
Not familiar with the sport of Boccia? Boccia is a Paralympic sport that can be played by anyone, with or without a disability. Originally designed for people with severe cerebral palsy, it is now enjoyed by players with a wide variety of disabilities. It’s easy for a beginner to pick up quickly, but builds in intensity and complexity as players hone their skills (Boccia Canada).
Richmond is proud to host the 2023 Canadian Championships. We hope to provide an inspiring venue for athletes to compete at their best, inspire others, and raise awareness about Boccia and Adaptive Sports. We wish all the athletes the best of luck as they compete for the title of Canadian Champion!
