Richmond Sport Hosting Incentive Grant Program Receives a Boost for 2023
Richmond Sport Hosting, in partnership with Tourism Richmond, is pleased to announce that its Incentive Grant Program will be increasing from $100,000 to $150,000 in 2023. Over the last decade, the program, which provides vital resources to financially support and elevate sporting events hosted in the city of Richmond, has awarded one million dollars to over 475 events.
Our sport partners have faced immense financial challenges in event hosting over the past two years, and our goal is to remove as many of these barriers as possible. The collaborative partnership between Richmond Sport Hosting and Tourism Richmond will continue to provide event organizers with direct support to host successful world-class events in Richmond and grow the economic impact that is beneficial to the community as a whole.
