MINORU PARK
Conveniently located in Richmond’s City Centre, amongst a variety of walking routes and greenery, Minoru Park Stadium and Sport Complex is a premier sports facility to host major sporting events from soccer to baseball to track and field. Consisting of a newly resurfaced 8 lane, 400m track, complete with all athletics field events facilities.
The infield of the track is an artificial turf field lined for Canadian football and soccer. Seating for 2,000 spectators and options for bringing in additional seating available.
In addition to the stadium, another two artificial turf fields lined for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse accompany the park space, with baseball diamond capacity. A regulation size cricket pitch and two lawn bowling greens are also onsite, and the complex is adjacent to the Richmond Tennis Club.
