Skate Canada issued a press release on May 26, 2020, announcing the cancellation of the 2020 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Canada due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was scheduled to take place August 26 – 29, 2020 in Richmond, at Minoru Arena.
