MRJ Escape Room offers one of Richmond’s most distinctive live-action immersive entertainment experiences — far beyond a traditional escape room.

Designed to feel more like stepping into a live horror movie than simply solving puzzles in a room, MRJ combines real actors, cinematic set design, interactive storytelling, high-tech mechanics, theatrical sound and lighting, and story-driven gameplay to place guests directly inside the experience.

Our signature live-actor horror themes, The Final Procedure and Restroom 404, deliver a style of immersive horror rarely found in traditional escape rooms. Players don’t simply observe the story — they interact with characters, explore highly detailed environments, trigger physical effects and mechanisms, and become part of the unfolding narrative.

With more than 10,000 players and over 1,000 Google reviews with a 4.8-star rating, MRJ has become a unique destination for date nights, friend groups, birthdays, team-building events, and visitors looking for something truly different to do in Richmond.
