Watermania is part of the Riverport Sports & Entertainment Complex, with neighboring facilities including the Richmond Ice Centre, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Riverport hotel and a number of restaurants and family-oriented activities.
Watermania’s 57 metre competition pool with moveable bulkhead can accommodate a variety of uses including 25 or 50 metre swimming competitions, water polo, artistic swimming, triathlon, and diving (1 & 3 metre springboard and 5 metre tower). The eight-lane competition pool has a designated warmup and cooldown area.
The Aires electronic timing system with touch pads can accommodate single or double ended swim competitions, as well as water polo events. Pool depths range from 1.12-4.2 metres.
