TrailblazerHERS – Women’s Para Hockey Showcase
The TrailblazerHERS Project, an initiative to grow female para hockey, funded by the Hockey Canada Foundation, is a project that focus on inclusion, coach education, female mentorship and new fan engagement for the sport. As part two of the project, a 3-game series of the Canadian Women’s Para Hockey Team versus the USA Women’s Para Hockey Team will be played Feb. 21 – 23, 2020 at the Richmond Olympic Oval. With an addition of a female only mentorship try-it session on Feb. 19th and outreach with the local community through Olympic Day and the Richmond Oval’s 10 Year Anniversary Celebrations.
