RSH Strategy 2016-2020
The RSH Office opened in 2009 and quickly established the City of Richmond as a destination of choice for world class sporting events. As a Venue City for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, many organizations quickly became aware of the exceptional opportunities that exist to showcase their events through hosting in Richmond. Over the last few months of 2015, RSH staff consulted with a number of sport organizations and the program partners to determine the direction for Richmond Sport Hosting, and in January 2016 the Strategy 2016-2020 document was endorsed by Council. It is an exciting time for sport in Richmond!
